CEPP: The Heart of Everglades Restoration

Categories: Blog, Foundation Science

The July/August 2015 issue of The Environmental Forum features three of our science staff highlighting the importance of critical projects like CEPP to Everglades restoration.

Initiated in 2011 under an expedited timeline, state and federal agencies developed the Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) focused on the core Everglades—the heart of the ecosystem that has been most impacted by reduced freshwater flow. CEPP is currently awaiting congressional approval.

The Environmental Forum is the Environmental Law Institute’s award-winning membership journal with reports and data on critical issues by industry leaders and academics. Learn more at www.eli.org.
