Florida officials and environmental advocates touted major progress toward Everglades restoration, advanced by state-funded projects.

The restoration effort in the Everglades is the largest hydrological restoration project ever undertaken in the U.S.

That includes about $850 million for Everglades restoration projects, including $614 million to support CERP and the EAA Reservoir.

Congress provides $425 M in FY 2024 funding to restore America’s Everglades, & President Joe Biden includes $444 M in FY 25 budget proposal.
