The Everglades Foundation Mourns the Loss of Bob Graham

Statement by Eric Eikenberg, CEO, The Everglades Foundation:

“Bob Graham was quintessential Florida. His unwavering love for our state exemplified his more than four decades of public service.

Bob Graham was one of the most dedicated supporters of the Everglades. Always eager to see progress, he understood the necessity to restore this national treasure for future generations. His annual speech at the Everglades Coalition Conference rallied those of us who are committed to America’s Everglades and Florida’s natural resources.

Personally, I will always cherish the phone calls, meetings, and letters over the years with this remarkable man. It was a privilege to know and learn from him.

Words are inadequate to thank Bob Graham for his service to Florida, the nation, and especially to the protection of our beloved Everglades. We send our deepest condolences and prayers to Adele and the entire Graham family.”
