Angie G. Iturrioz, CPA , CGMA

As Controller for The Everglades Foundation, Angie Iturrioz is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the organization’s breadth of accounting functions. Prior to joining the Foundation, Angie served as Controller for The Episcopal Church in Southeast Florida, where she was responsible for the Accounting Department and the supervision of all accounting staff, related contractors, and proper recording of all accounting transactions, cash flow management, and month-end closings. She also served as liaison to outside auditors, and prepared all financial reporting and filings.

Previously, Angie worked as the Audit Associate at Krissel & Company, Certified Public Accountants (a local CPA firm in Miami), and as Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Company, CPA firm in the Orlando and San Juan, Puerto Rico offices, respectively.

Angie is a CPA with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazon in San Juan, with majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
