Brittany Gress

Graphic Design Specialist

Communications

Award-winning visual artist and graphic designer Brittany Gress applies her skills in all stages of creative production to her role as The Everglades Foundation’s Graphic Design Specialist. As an integral part of the Communications team, her responsibilities include the creation of high-quality print and digital collateral that supports the Foundation’s programmatic efforts.

Brittany joined the Foundation after serving as Graphics and GIS Specialist at Florida Geographic Alliance. Prior to that, she held a variety of graphic design and creative roles at organizations including the Florida Center for Prevention Research, Design Week Tallahassee, AIGA Tallahassee, Friends of Dance at Florida State University (FSU), Diverse World Fashion magazine, and The Kudzu Review.

Among the honors she has received are Gold and Bronze Telly awards, a Silver American Advertising award, Grand Prize recognition from Wired magazine, and an Ann Kirn Graphic Design Scholarship at FSU. Brittany earned two bachelor’s degrees from FSU; one in studio art, and another in creative writing.

Brittany lives in Winter Garden, Florida – not far from the headwaters of the Everglades. In her leisure time, she takes to the stage as a soprano in the Orlando Sings Symphonic Choir.
