The Everglades Foundation’s Chief Finance and Operations Officer Coreen Rodgers brings over two decades of executive financial and operations experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to the organization, as well as roots in the Miami community. As CFOO, Coreen serves as a direct partner to the Chief Executive Officer in execution of the Foundation’s strategic plan and objectives. An integral member of the Executive Leadership Team, she is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s fiscal activities and interests, guiding day-to-day operations and administrative functions, and advising on high-level organizational decisions and strategy.
Rodgers previously served as the Vice President of Business and Chief Operating Officer at Claremont McKenna College (CMC), a position she held since 2019. There, Rodgers performed a strategic and managerial role to sustain CMC’s distinctive mission and leadership position in liberal arts education. Rodgers oversaw its financial and operational enterprises, including finance and accounting, information technology and security, building and grounds management, human resources, food services and campus dining. Prior to CMC, Rodgers was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, was Chief Operating Officer of USC’s Keck School of Medicine, and earlier, was Senior Administrator of the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami.
Rodgers is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Pepperdine University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. She enjoys all the outdoor activities Florida has to offer, and lives in Jupiter with her two children.
