Emilee joined The Everglades Foundation in 2024 and provides administrative support through a variety of tasks related to organization and office operations for the Development department. She compiles research for donors and assists with maintaining records associated with gifts and grants to the Foundation. Emilee also answers routine correspondence and handles general office duties including filing, scheduling, coordinating mailings, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Emilee served as an intern at Coral Restoration Foundation in Key Largo, FL, where she conducted event outreach and educated South Florida youth about the importance of coral reefs. Previously, she worked remotely as a business development representative for the U.S. market at the Dublin, Ireland-based Brightflag. She also completed an internship with the Chittenden County Public Defender’s Office in Burlington, VT, performing various administrative duties to assist attorneys and their clients.
Emilee earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Vermont, and holds scuba, first aid and CPR certifications. She resides in Coral Gables, FL.
