The Everglades Foundation’s Video Production Specialist Javier Lozada is responsible for the capture and editing of video assets to be used in the promotion of the Foundation's Science, Advocacy & Education programs in a variety of platforms, including social media channels. He also contributes new content ideas, organizes and manages the Foundation’s media assets, and collaborates with colleagues to produce high quality content that inspires viewers to engage with the organization.
Prior to joining The Everglades Foundation, Javier operated his own photography and video production firm, producing content for clients in broadcasting, real estate, automotive, and event production businesses. Previously, he served as videographer and video editor for a variety of Florida-based firms.
Javier earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Business Entrepreneurship from Florida International University. He also has received a number of certifications in cinematography, and was honored with the Colgate-Palmolive “You Can Make a Difference Award” in 2010.
Javier resides in Cutler Bay, FL, with his wife and daughter. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling internationally with his family and capturing photography.
