Jeannete Rubio

As Senior Administrative Assistant with The Everglades Foundation’s Education team, Jeannette handles a wide variety of tasks and helps coordinate the work of the education staff as they lead and implement the Everglades Literacy Program across the state.

Most recently, Jeannette served as Senior Administrative Assistant within the Foundation’s Administration department. Previously, she implemented an outreach and advocacy program for migrant farm worker families, worked with special needs children in multiple capacities, and helped found a private school for underprivileged and developmentally delayed children.

A mother of three, and originally from New York, Jeannette has been a Florida resident for more than 20 years. She enjoys cooking, music, traveling, playing with her dogs, and volunteering with her children.
